Cast your vote for Curtis Byrd on November 4th for leadership that will vote to end the secrecy on the Santa Rosa City Council. As residents and tax payers we have the right to full disclosure. After all it is the people’s business.
- As taxpayers we have the right know the facts behind the closure of City Hall on the morning of the protest over the shooting death of Andy Lopez.
- As taxpayers we have the right to know the facts behind suddenly cancelling the City Council meeting.
- As taxpayers we have the right to know the facts behind the costly decision to investigate Councilmember Gary Wysocky. Hiring an organizational consultant to build bridges and come together to collectively serve the citizens of Santa Rosa would have topped my agenda.
The citizens of Santa Rosa have a right to demand and expect a transparent and open government. The closed door mentality must end.
